Job OverviewPuroclean Emergency Restoration is seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Restoration Technician to oversee and execute mitigation and restoration projects across residential, commercial, and industrial properties. This role combines hands‑on technical work with leadership and client communication responsibilities. Responsibilities- Lead and manage on‑site mitigation and restoration projects
- Supervise, train, and support field technicians and laborers
- Execute water extraction, controlled demolition, drying setup, and equipment monitoring
- Conduct job inspections and document progress using restoration software (e.g., Mitigate, Purologic)
- Ensure adherence to IICRC standards, SOPs, and jobsite safety protocols
- Communicate with clients, adjusters, and internal teams throughout project lifecycle
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and restoration equipment
- Participate in the after‑hours on‑call rotation for emergency responses
- Assist with scheduling, QA checks, and administrative coordination
- High school diploma or GED required; trade school or college preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in mitigation/restoration
- IICRC Certification:
Water Restoration Technician (WRT) required - Additional certifications (ASD, AMRT, FSRT) strongly preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to use moisture meters, drying logs, and digital tracking tools
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in tight spaces, and perform labor‑intensive tasks
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends, evenings, and on‑call shifts
- Strong team mindset with proven ability to train and lead others

Full‑Time - Monday through Friday
