Major Gifts Officer

Our client, a non-profit organization is seeking a Major Gifts Officer to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis in Linthicum, Maryland.

Lead major gifts and individual giving efforts to grow donor engagement and fundraising revenue

Manage a portfolio of 100-125 donors and prospects, developing cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies

Build relationships with high-net-worth individuals, donors, volunteer leaders, and board members

Research and identify new fundraising opportunities while expanding donor participation

Oversee donor recognition, fundraising campaigns, and donor engagement initiatives

Track donor activity, prepare reports, and support fundraising events

Bachelor's degree required5+ years of major gifts, fundraising, business development, or consultative sales experience

Proven success achieving revenue goals and building high-value relationships

Experience working with donors, executives, boards, or other senior stakeholders

Strong communication, relationship-building, and strategic thinking skills

High emotional intelligence with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Experience with donor CRM systems and Microsoft Office preferred

ASAP!$38-$45/hr on the contract side Permanent Salary: $100K-$110K Hybrid schedule: 2 days onsite
