ACCOUNTS/FINANCE MANAGER Ideally from an accountancy background either at a qualified or non-qualified level you must be proficient in all aspects of the financial requirements that a small local business needs. This will include sales, purchase and sundry ledger formulation and control together with stock purchasing, distribution, credit control and stock auditing. You will ensure that VAT and HMRC legislation is compliant and submitted as required.

You will be responsible for all ancillary expenditure which will include wages, vehicle costs, petty cash expenditure etc. together with identification and implementation of variable cost controls. You will provide essential sales information on a weekly basis together with accurate monthly P&L accounts and forecasted cash flow accounts. Supported by a small team it is essential that you have a cooperative and supportive style with the ability to identify the variable demands that a business creates.

You will be a versatile individual with an analytical and structured approach capable of ensuring that the existing strong financial position is maintained. Essential Criteria Accounts and payroll experience within a busy office environment. IT proficient - to include Microsoft Office especially Excel and Sage - Sage payroll software.

Experience of Purchase Ledger administration processes.

Experience of Sage and Sage payroll systems.

Experience of Microsoft Business Central / Navision / Continia Strong numerical skills, coupled with good attention to detail Role includes attractive salary and annual leave package, bonus scheme and private healthcare.
