Overall objectives

We seek to appoint an Outdoor Operations Administrator to join our busy and expanding team within McQuillan Outdoor. If you are looking for a career opportunity within a growing business that includes a range of benefits, in a dynamic and engaging working environment then McQuillan Companies is the place for you. This role will require someone with a 'can do' attitude, a commercial approach and demonstrable attention to detail.

The successful candidate will report to the Operations Manager and must be hardworking, reliable, and possess excellent communication & inter-personal skills. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the operations team
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, reports and documentation
  • Use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) to produce spreadsheets, reports and correspondence
  • Maintain and update data within Business Central and Share Point
  • Coordinate job information, schedules and operational paperwork
  • Handle written and verbal communication with internal teams, clients and suppliers
  • Support invoicing, job tracking and operational reporting
  • Ensure high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks
  • Assist with problem-solving and day-to-day operational queries
  • Support continuous improvement of administrative and operational processes
Desirable Criteria
  • Strong IT skills are essential for this role, including:
  • Microsoft Packages e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel etc.
  • Ability to learn how to use financial and operational software packages e.g. Work Pal
  • Knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central beneficial but not essential
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrated initiative and high levels of energy
  • Excellent communication skills and work ethics
