About the role: As a Fin Ops Specialist, you will play a critical role in advising a business unit of over 300 people on how to make their cloud‑based capabilities more efficient and cost‑effective. You will work at both the strategic level, helping customers understand and adopt Fin Ops practices, and at the technical level, collaborating with product architects and engineering teams to architect solutions with cost considered from the outset.

- Applying Fin Ops principles to drive cloud efficiency and cost optimisation in large‑scale environments.
- Deep understanding of AWS technologies, pricing models, and cost management tools.
- Advising on cloud architecture to embed cost efficiency and scalability.
- Developing and marketing Fin Ops offerings to customers, including creating compelling value propositions.
- Engaging with senior stakeholders to align cloud efficiency strategies with business objectives.
- Building business cases for cloud optimisation initiatives supported by robust data and analysis.
- Familiarity with government or regulated environments (desirable but not essential).
- Strong communication skills to influence technical and non‑technical audiences.
