Hybrid Account Manager - Reinsurance & Client

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Treaty Broking team at Guy Carpenter China. This role will be based in Beijing Office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

• Support in maintaining and developing client relationships for existing and new clients
• Support the best broking practice, which includes client proposal, presentation, market submission & execution
• Build and maintain good relations with reinsurers
• Regular communication with clients at counterpart level to collect feedback, identify needs and gather market intelligence
• Conduct market research and information collection
• Compile presentations and advisory documents under the direction of a supervisor
• Play an active role in GC client and market events to promote GC brand and enhance relationships with clients and markets as required
• Any projects under the direction of management

• University graduate with a background in Finance, Statistics, Economics, Risk Management, Math, etc.
• Experience in the insurance / reinsurance industry
• Experience in property and casualty insurance
• Strong ability to work with colleagues effectively at all levels; must be a good team player
• Well-versed in office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Proficient in English and Mandarin, both verbal and written
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills
• Pleasant personality, excellent interpersonal skills, must be a good communicator
