Senior Health and Safety Consultant

MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Senior Health & Safety Consultant for our client, a leading Health & Safety Consultancy operating across Ireland, the UK and Europe. This is a senior opportunity for an experienced H&S/HSEQ professional with strong construction, management systems and leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities Provide senior H&S consultancy across large-scale construction projects. Support clients throughout the project lifecycle. Develop and maintain HSEQ management systems. Manage ISO and 9001 systems and audits. Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments and compliance reviews. Review RAMS, contractor controls and project documentation. Lead incident investigations and corrective actions. Manage, mentor and develop H&S professionals. Manage multiple projects, client relationships and senior stakeholders.

Produce technical reports, policies and management plans. Support the continued growth of the consultancy. Requirements Strong H&S experience on large-scale construction projects. Senior H&S, HSEQ, SHEQ or consultancy experience. Experience developing and implementing management systems. Strong knowledge of ISO and 9001. Previous team leadership/management experience. Strong audit, risk assessment and compliance experience. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong knowledge of NI, ROI and UK H&S legislation.

NEBOSH Diploma, NVQ Level 6 or equivalent. CMIOSH or working towards Chartered status. ISO Auditor/Lead Auditor qualification desirable. Full driving licence.
