We are recruiting a dedicated and resilient Biology Teacher to work within a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) based in Cradley Heath
.

This is a full-time, long-term role working with Year 11 pupils who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pupils to engage with learning and work towards their GCSE outcomes in a structured and supportive environment.

As a Biology Teacher in this PRU setting, you will deliver engaging and accessible lessons tailored to meet the needs of learners who may have experienced barriers to mainstream education. You will work closely with support staff and pastoral teams to create a positive and consistent learning experience.

• Delivering Biology lessons to Year 11 pupils
• Planning, assessing, and marking work in line with curriculum requirements
• Adapting teaching strategies to support pupils with SEMH needs
• Managing behaviour positively and consistently
• Supporting pupils academic progress and emotional wellbeing

• Long-term, full-time position until the end of the academic year
• Supportive and collaborative PRU environment

• Experience teaching Biology at KS4
• Experience working with pupils with SEMH needs or in alternative provision (desirable)
• Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
