ResponsibilitiesSubjects you can teach include Principles of Electrical Design and Installation, Science Principles for BSE, and Sustainable Construction. We will explore your areas of expertise in more detail at interview and discuss how your skills can best fit within our team.
The ability to communicate effectively with adults and young people is essential. Experience of teaching at National and Higher National level is desirable. Possession of (or willingness to achieve) a Certificate in Education is essential; teacher training will be provided if necessary.
QualificationsIndustry experience in the construction industry and interest in a teaching career.

This role is eligible for the DfE Levelling Up Premium Payments, up to £6,000 for FE teachers meeting criteria. Leeds College of Building will fund successful candidates to become qualified FE teachers.

This role is based in the UK. Candidates must evidence their right to work in the UK prior to commencing employment, either as a UK or Irish citizen, under the EU Settlement scheme or having secured any other relevant work visa.
