BBBHProcurement​/Sourcing Specialist; Engineering

Our client is a rapidly growing engineering manufacturer with ambitious plans to treble in size in the next 3 years!!

To support this continued expansion, they are transforming their sourcing strategy and strengthening global supply partnerships Globally.

This is a pivotal appointment that will play a central role in delivering future global supply capability.

As Global Sourcing Lead, you will take the commercial and strategic lead on sourcing vital materials and components that support production growth and new product innovation.

You will be responsible for;

• Leading the search for high performing suppliers that align with quality, reliability and sustainability standards
• Working closely with engineering and production teams to translate technical drawings into sourcing solutions
• Championing sustainability in the supply chain including carbon reduction and lower impact materials
• Managing commercial negotiations to secure resilient, competitive supply agreements
• Using market insight to anticipate risks such as tariff changes or material cost volatility
• Supporting R&D teams with sourcing for new materials and emerging technologies
• Developing strong supplier relationships built on trust and shared growth
• Introducing data driven performance monitoring including cost, delivery and sustainability KPIs
• Supporting future ERP and process optimisation initiatives as the business scales

• Experience in global sourcing with exposure to Asian markets
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation capability
• Ability to interpret technical drawings or engineering specifications
• Knowledge of international trade, tariffs and supplier risk management
