Multi Skilled Engineer - Electrical Bias

* This role consists of rotating shift patterns, working days & nights.

• Diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns, carrying out corrective and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
• Undertake repairs and maintenance on PLC controlled production machinery, packaging equipment, and associated systems
• Carry out equipment inspections, identify potential issues, and define appropriate work scopes and standards
• Accurately record, report, and update all maintenance activities using the Mobile Maintenance Management System
• Maintain plant maintenance records, update job plans, and technical documentation to support efficient maintenance and reduce delays
• Provide technical expertise to improve reliability, performance, and efficiency of plant machinery and automation systems
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, health & safety standards, and statutory requirements
• Work collaboratively with production, quality, and engineering teams to support smooth operations in a high-speed beverage manufacturing environment
• Minimum 4 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade C or above, or equivalent
• Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent Higher Level qualification in Electrical/Automation / Mecatronics Engineering
• 3+ years experience in FMCG or beverage/food manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret Electrical / Mechanical drawings, installation of new equipment and deep understanding of control systems
• Demonstrates the highest standards of practice in health and safety
• Demonstrates cross-functional thinking and understanding
• Skilled in troubleshooting, fault-finding, and root cause analysis

• Time served Electrical, Electronic, Automation Engineer
• Strong knowledge of Siemens PLC systems
• 3rd level Education qualification in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics)
• Extensive experience in FMCG or beverage/food manufacturing environment
