CNC Programmer (Aerospace / 5‑Axis)

Syntech Recruitment is working with a high‑precision manufacturing business based close to Lurgan to appoint a CNC Programmer specialising in complex aerospace components.

• Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00
• Friday: 07:00 – 12:00

• £45,000 – £50,000 DOE

• Offline CNC programming for 3, 4 and 5‑axis machining centres using CAM software
• Develop and optimise machining strategies across materials including aluminium and titanium
• Select and implement efficient tooling packages for each component
• Design and develop fixtures and work holding solutions
• Liaise with external programming subcontractors where required

• Experience in offline CNC programming using CAM software (e.g. Mastercam or similar)
• Strong understanding of multi‑axis machining (3, 4 and 5‑axis)
• Background in aerospace or high‑precision engineering environments
• Experience machining materials such as aluminium and titanium
• Ability to develop and improve manufacturing processes and efficiency
• Understanding of controls (Siemens, Fanuc, Heidenhain – desirable)

• Detail‑driven with a strong technical mindset
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, production and quality
• Proactive in identifying improvements and driving change
• Capable of managing multiple projects and priorities
