This role sits within the Global Supply Chain division and offers the chance to contribute to new product introduction, process improvement, and industrialisation projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
The Role As a Process Control Engineer, you will support the delivery of new product introduction (NPI) projects and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in improving product quality, enhancing efficiency, and implementing lean manufacturing principles. This is a hands-on role where you will be involved in both strategic process development and day-to-day production support.
Key Responsibilities Lead NPI project planning and execution to meet defined timelines Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to key stakeholders Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies Identify and implement automation opportunities within assembly and testing processes Conduct root cause analysis for production and process issues Support production teams in troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing challenges Review and optimise production line layouts and workflows Improve health & safety and ergonomics within production environments Create, review, and maintain process documentation Work closely with quality teams to establish and maintain standards and procedures Develop and execute process validation plans, including DOE, PFMEA, and SPC Collaborate with design teams to ensure manufacturability and cost efficiency (DFM, DFA, DFT) What You'll Need Degree in Engineering or Science (Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical preferred)
Experience with in an industrial or manufacturing environment Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement tools
Experience with data analysis, Excel programming, or macros Familiarity with LabVIEW or similar programming tools Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems Understanding of general-purpose test equipment Strong organisational and time management skills High attention to detail with strong written documentation ability What's in it for you? 12-month contract opportunity Opportunity to work on innovative technologies within a global organisation Exposure to cross-functional projects within supply chain and manufacturing
