Overview
AMC TRAINING & CONSULTANCY LTD – to support the finance function in delivering accurate and timely financial operations, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day accounting processes and contributing to effective financial management of the organisation.
Responsibilities- Process purchase and sales invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely entry into the accounting system.
- Record and process staff expenses and company payments.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
- Liaise with suppliers and clients regarding billing, statements, and payment queries.
- Assist with payroll preparation, ensuring employee records are accurate and up to date.
- Maintain timesheets, overtime records, and related documentation.
- Support compliance with statutory payroll requirements.
- Maintain accurate and organised financial records in line with company policies.
- Update and reconcile entries in accounting systems.
- Prepare basic financial reports for management, such as aged creditors/debtors and expense summaries.
- Good understanding of finance and accounting principles.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, Quick Books).
- Clear and professional communication skills for liaising with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience in a finance or accounts role.
- Knowledge of payroll procedures.
- Experience with in training, education, or service industries.
Working hours:
Up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/reduced hours may be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional hours may be offered depending on availability; discuss with the employer before starting employment. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.

Salary: 16-17 £ 7.55, 18-20 £ 10.00, 21 plus £12.21 per hour.
