For the duration of the selected rota pattern (e.g., 2, 4 or 6 weeks or ongoing), live‑in carers reside with a client. You will provide companionship and care for one person or occasionally a couple, assisting with everyday tasks, personal care, and managing illnesses such as dementia. You will customize your support to fit your client’s needs by adhering to a person‑centred care plan.

• Paired with the client based on your qualifications and the client’s needs to offer specialised companionship and support.
• Typically give 8–10 hours of care each day on average, following a personalised care plan.
• Assist with illnesses including Parkinson’s, dementia, and stroke.
• Transport and manage appointments.
• Clean, cook, and ensure the house runs smoothly.

• Professional care experience in any care environment (live‑in, domiciliary, support work, care assistant, NHS healthcare assistant, etc.) or recent experience providing personal care to an adult friend or family member.
• Legally permitted to work in the UK (British passport, settled or pre‑settled status, or a valid visa).
• Accepted only from vaccinated, immediately available, or exempt carers due to rising demand.
• Driver’s licence is an advantage, and you must be able to travel to the client placement with flexibility.
