Linenhall Medical Practice based in the new Primary Community and Care Centre in Lisburn require a Medical receptionist with administrative duties to support our very busy practice. The role is for 37.5/32 hours per week on a permanent basis. Starting rate is £13.40per hour with the potential to increase to £13.90 per hour.

• Greeting patients and visitors in a professional courteous manner.
• Answering phone calls promptly and directing enquires appropriately.
• Managing appointments and processing prescriptions.
• Relaying results and answering patient queries.
• Maintaining accurate patient records, updating information accurately.
• Liaise with other healthcare professionals.
• Processing letters.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.

• 2 years experience in a similar role.
• 5 GCSE's grade A to C including English and Maths.
• Computer literate.
• Evidence of working in a team & on own initiative.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility to cover sickness and holidays.

• Experience in a medical environment (working within a GP surgery advantageous) although full training will be given.

• HSC pension
