Bar Staff

THE EMPLOYER IS: LISBURN CRICKET CLUBThe Bar Staff will support the day-to-day running of Lisburn Cricket Club’s bar based in Wallace Park. The role provides practical experience in hospitality, customer service, and food and beverage operations within a vibrant community sports environment. The successful applicant will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for members, visitors, and community groups.

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and snacks in line with club standards.
• Assist with setting up and closing the bar area, ensuring it remains clean, tidy, and well-presented.
• Support stock management through restocking, checking deliveries, and rotating products.
• Operate tills and process payments securely and accurately.
• Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene requirements, including food safety regulations.
• Assist with service at matches, events, and community functions.

• Interest in hospitality or customer service.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Basic numeracy skills for cash handling and payment processing.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Previous experience in a café, bar, or hospitality setting (paid or voluntary).
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene or bar operations.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Access to transport for evening and weekend shifts.
