MCS are seeking a highly motivated, IT Technician to join a small, stable company. This role is designed for someone looking to plant roots and build a long‑term career.

This role offers the ability to break into the IT Field on a temporary basis, that can convert into a full time permanent position for the right candidate.

We need someone to provide excellent day to day IT support, ensure our systems run smoothly, and actively assist in our modernisation efforts (Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra , cloud based services).

Core Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact for everyday IT issues (logins, email, Microsoft 365, printers, basic application support).
• Log, prioritise, and resolve support requests, escalating complex issues as necessary.
• Manage staff on-boarding and off-boarding processes.
• Build, configure, and maintain PCs/laptops and ensure all devices are patched and secure.
• Support the integration of cloud services like Microsoft 365 and assist with Azure/Entra  under guidance.

• During quieter IT periods, you will provide valuable assistance to the production department (hands on work).

• Proven technical aptitude (e.g., strong GCSE or A Level qualifications are expected).
• Enthusiasm for technology and a desire to learn new systems.
• A reliable team player who is looking for a long‑term career path.

The Package:

• Starting Salary of £27,400 (Pro‑rata)
• In‑house upskilling provided
• 40 Hours/week
• Working hours:
  
  8am - 5pm (M‑F)
• 32 Days Holiday Entitlement
• 1pm Friday Finishes (Paid until 5pm, subject to business needs)
• Free on‑site parking
