Senior CIAM Engineer – Permanent – Expected starting salary: £39,120 – £48,900. Closing date: 3rd March 2026.

The role maximises digital and data technology platform strategy, enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency across all teams.

You’ll provide expert consultancy on identity, directory, and security solutions, focusing on IBM Security Access Manager, Okta, and related platforms. You’ll oversee design and support of web and identity infrastructure, including SharePoint, Web Sphere, IIS, Tomcat, Apache, ensuring secure, integrated, resilient services. Responsibilities include internet security, third‑party integrations, domain and SSL management, and creating clear technical documentation.

• Develop and maintain CIAM strategies utilising Okta, Ping, IBM ISAM, and Federation Services.
• Support, document, and enhance CIAM integrations across platforms.
• Provide technical expertise, with a focus on automation and process improvement.
• Deliver complex solutions independently, with minimal oversight.
• Uphold service level agreements (SLAs) and optimise the performance of web services.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.

This role requires non‑standard working hours: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM BST to collaborate with global teams.

• Experience with IBM Security Access Manager and Okta (Auth0).
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and project management skills.
• Knowledge of DNS, networking, Java/.NET, cloud, and scripting (JSON, Power Shell, Ansible, Java, Terraform).
• Understanding of access management, PKI, and security technologies.
• Expertise in SAML, OpenID, OAuth, federation, and hybrid cloud.
• Experience with ISAM/WebSEAL, cloud identity, and automation.
• Strategic thinking and zero‑trust familiarity.
