The OpportunityWe're looking for a Senior Dev Ops Engineer to join our Internal Infrastructure & Tooling team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the platforms and tooling that our engineering teams rely on every day.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS and on premises hardware, ensuring reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Own and evolve our CI/CD pipelines, enabling engineering teams to develop their products with confidence.
- Manage and harden Linux-based systems across our internal estate.
- Develop internal tooling and automation to improve developer experience and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with security stakeholders to embed best practices into infrastructure and deployment workflows.
- Contribute to incident response and post-incident reviews.
- Mentor other engineers and lead by example for infrastructure standards across the organization.
Essential:
- Strong knowledge of Linux administration, networking, and troubleshooting in production environments.
- Several years of experience in a Dev Ops, SRE, or infrastructure engineering role.
- A solid understanding of infrastructure-as-code principles and modern deployment practices.
Desirable:
- Experience writing and managing Terraform modules and state at scale.
- Comfortable scripting and building tooling in Python.
- Experience designing and maintaining pipelines in Git Lab CI/CD.
- Familiarity with infrastructure security practices such as secrets management, vulnerability scanning.
- Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker).
- Familiarity with observability tooling (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
