VANRATH is delighted to be partnering with a well established, award-winning manufacturing business in the Lisburn area on the appointment of an Import & Customs Coordinator. This is a genuinely varied supply chain role within a busy, multi-site operation, managing the high-volume inbound flow of raw materials, components and finished goods. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will own the inbound freight desk, keeping deliveries cost effective, compliant and on time while holding strong customs, audit and regulatory standards.

About you- 2-3 years' experience in inbound logistics, import, or supply chain role, ideally in a high-volume manufacturing setting
- Practical experience managing TSS declarations and customs processes, including duty reimbursement for GB-NI inbounds
- Hands-on experience with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and hauliers
- Experience managing multi-site inbound logistics operations
- Supportive of internal and external audits with strong compliance record
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Detail-oriented with a compliance-focused mindset
- Commercially aware with a focus on cost control and service performance
- Coordinate all inbound shipments across multiple sites, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
- Prepare and manage customs declarations and handle duty reimbursements
- Maintain compliant customs documentation and support inspection processes
- Act as the main contact for freight forwarders and customs agents
- Monitor shipment progress, proactively resolving delays and risks
- Support audits and maintain detailed logistics records
- Collaborate with purchasing, production, warehouse, and finance teams
- Track inbound logistics KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
