Experienced Maintenance Planner (Manufacturing) - Lisburn - Salary up to £40000 (DoE) Your New Company A specialist manufacturing site in Lisburn with a select client profile. Your New Role Our client's manufacturing facility incorporates advanced production technologies including moulding presses, robotic cells, CNC machining centres, automated paint systems and assembly operations. As Maintenance Planner, you will take ownership of planning and scheduling maintenance across site, including the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programme and external contractor works.

Working closely with the Maintenance team and Production, you will help maximise machine uptime and move the site towards planned, proactive maintenance. When working your core duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Planning and scheduling preventive and planned maintenance across the site
* Planning, scheduling and tracking TPM activities, routines and machine checks
* Maintaining maintenance schedules and checking frequencies, keeping them up to date
* Scheduling and coordinating external contractors and service engineers around production
* Planning maintenance and contractor activity within agreed budgets, monitoring expenditure and reporting variances
* Agreeing planned downtime with Production to minimise operational disruption. Managing the ordering, availability and stock control of maintenance spares, parts and consumables to support planned and reactive maintenance activities
* Conducting regular spares stock audits and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and identify replenishment requirements
* Scheduling statutory inspections to meet legal and safety requirements
* Monitoring maintenance schedule compliance and reporting on completed, overdue and outstanding work orders
* Working closely with the Maintenance Manager and team to prioritise work and use downtime and reliability data to improve planning and support machine uptime
* Keeping accurate maintenance and contractor service records. You will have the opportunity to:
Play a central role in driving TPM across the site
* Move the site towards planned, proactive maintenance
* Work closely with Maintenance, Production and Engineering teams
* Directly influence machine uptime and reliability
* Shape planning and scheduling processes as the business grows. What You'll Need To Succeed To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills, experience and qualities:
Scheduling and planning experience are essential - ideally ~8 years within a manufacturing/production setting, but 5 years will be considered
* Strong planning and organisational skills, able to manage competing priorities
* Maintenance-specific scheduling and planning experience is highly desirable
* Experience working within set budgets and controlling costs
* Experience scheduling and managing contractors and external service providers
* Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements. Strong communication skills, working with Production, Maintenance and contractors
* Knowledge of TPM or similar preventive maintenance methodologies desirable
* Experience negotiating prices with contractors and suppliers desirable
* Engineering or maintenance qualification desirable but not essential. What You'll Get In Return
