This established charity retailer operates a strong portfolio of high‑street shops that generate vital funding for specialist care services. They are seeking a commercially driven Retail Area Manager to lead performance across multiple stores and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

You will take full accountability for a portfolio of shops, leading paid staff and volunteers to achieve income targets, control costs and maintain high standards of presentation and service.

This is a hands‑on, field‑based role, spending the majority of time in‑store coaching managers, driving performance and supporting operational excellence. Regular travel between stores and occasional weekend working is required. A full UK driving licence (max six penalty points) is essential.

This role would suit an experienced Area or Multi‑Site Manager or a high‑performing Store Manager ready to step up, with experience leading larger teams and exposure to multi‑site, cluster or regional support.

You will bring strong commercial awareness, proven people leadership skills, confidence in coaching and developing others, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Experience in charity retail is desirable but not essential.
