Overview:
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Manager to join our team in both Lisburn Tile Plant and Kingscourt Brick Plant.
As a Maintenance Manager you will be responsible in each respective site for all project, department goals and objectives. They will be encouraged to bring forth new ideas which will improve operational efficiencies, safety levels and given adequate time and resources to execute those ideas.
More about what you will do…- Oversee and lead all maintenance processes and operations.
- Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance.
- Maintain all machinery to ensure it’s at working standards.
- Create and implement maintenance procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
- Plan and manage all repair and installation activities.
- Ensure all department workers adhere to the safety policies and procedures.
- Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates.
- Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
- Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary.
- Create development programs to enhance skill base of all craft workers.
- Prepare capex proposals for new equipment.
- Prepare lifecycle analysis of all equipment.
- Oversee and approve suitable contractors.
- A degree in engineering or a technical field
- > 5 years maintenance or installation experience in a fixed-plant environment (preferably heavy engineering).
- Knowledge of industrial instrumentation installation, mechanical, electrical and maintenance.
- Computer proficiency in maintenance systems SAP or Maximo.
- Full Driving Licence
- 33 days per year (including bank holidays)
