Maintenance Electrician County Antrim 2-Shift Rotation (NO Nights) | Competitive Pay | Strong Benefits Overview A leading food manufacturing company in County Antrim is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join their expanding engineering team. This position offers a 2-shift rotation with no night shift, a competitive rate of pay, and an excellent benefits package. Youll be joining a fast-paced, high-volume production environment where reliability, safety, and continuous improvement are central to the operation.

This is an ideal opportunity for a time-served engineer who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and supporting modern automated equipment. Duties In this role, you will be responsible for:
Maintaining health, safety, hygiene, and compliance standards across the site. Installation, repair, and upkeep of electrical and mechanical production equipment. Fault diagnosis on electrical and/or mechanical systems. Ensuring preventative maintenance schedules are fully followed and completed. Providing technical support to production and other site departments. Maintaining site infrastructure to a consistently high standard. Implementing solutions aimed at improving machine reliability and product quality.

Working with the on-site CMMS system to support cost and efficiency improvements. Complying with all food safety, quality, legality, and environmental regulations. Criteria To succeed in this position, you will need:
To be a time-served Electrician or dual skilled maintenance trade. 2 years recent experience within an industrial, manufacturing, or high-volume production environment. Strong motivation and the ability to perform well in a fast-paced and pressurised environment. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Proven experience in fault finding and working with control panels. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
