Your New Role As a Material Technologist, you will play a key role in supporting material testing, product quality and manufacturing processes. Working closely with colleagues across technical, quality and production teams, you will help ensure materials meet required specifications and industry standards.
This position offers excellent exposure to manufacturing operations and provides a fantastic opportunity to develop technical expertise within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities Conduct material testing and analysis within laboratory and production environments. Support investigations into material performance and quality issues. Assist in the development and validation of materials and manufacturing processes. Maintain accurate technical records and documentation. Support quality improvement initiatives and compliance activities. Work closely with production, quality and engineering teams to resolve technical challenges. Ensure adherence to quality systems, procedures and safety standards.
What You'll Need to Succeed Essential Requirements Practical experience within a materials technology, manufacturing, laboratory or technical environment. Understanding of quality systems and procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent attention to detail. Effective time management and prioritisation skills. Graduates Welcome. Applications are also encouraged from graduates with a relevant degree in Materials Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Manufacturing, Polymer Science or a related discipline who are looking to launch their career within industry.
