Mon‑Thurs, 7am – 4pm, Fri, 7am‑12 noon.

Assa Abloy is a leading manufacturer of high‑quality timber doors, supplying to commercial, residential, and specialist construction client projects. We are seeking a skilled Bench Joiner to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing bespoke and standard timber doors ensuring the highest standards of craftsmanship, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities- Manufacture timber doors and door components from technical drawings and specifications.
- Operate a variety of woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Assemble, fit, and finish timber door sets to quality and fire safety standards.
- Measure, mark, cut, and shape timber materials accurately.
- Report any defects, material shortages, or production issues to Production Manager.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
- Relevant joinery or carpentry qualifications.
- Previous experience as a Bench Joiner, Carpenter, or Woodworking Operative.
- Experience working within a timber door, joinery, carpentry or woodworking manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Competent in the use of woodworking machinery and hand tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
