Role Overview

• Drive new business and grow existing accounts across the natural stone and building products market.
• Develop relationships with architects, contractors, developers, landscapers and private clients.
• Manage opportunities from initial enquiry through quotation, negotiation, contract award and completion.
• Identify profitable sales, repeat business, variations and cross-selling opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business and manage the sales pipeline.
• Prepare quotations, tenders and commercial proposals.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts and commercial terms.
• Manage client relationships and provide product guidance.
• Work with internal teams, suppliers and subcontractors to support project delivery.
• Monitor project costs, margins, programmes and commercial performance.
• Attend client meetings, site visits and networking events.
• Report on sales activity, pipeline and revenue to senior management.

Key Requirements

• Sales/business development experience within construction, building materials, stone, landscaping or a related sector.
• Proven ability to win new business and grow existing accounts.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and communication skills.
• Experience with pricing, quotations, tenders and contracts.
• Excellent relationship-building and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of natural stone or construction products advantageous.
• Relevant construction qualification desirable.
