Deputy Head of Security

Start Date 08/09/2021

We are looking for a Deputy Head of Security to join us.

The successful candidate will be responsible on a day to day basis for all matters concerning the operational security of the National Theatre and to support the Head of Security in delivering a comprehensive and efficient security service to the National Theatre.

The successful candidate will have the following:

Relevant Security and staff management experience working in a similar role, demonstrating experience of working at an operational management level delivering a security service, ideally within a large high-profile visitor attraction or similar environment

Proven experience of effective contract management within the Security industry including contract financial/budget management

Advanced working knowledge of security systems, integrated security systems and Control Room operations (including CCTV, access control, intruder alarm and procedures)

Proven experience of managing teams and overseeing functions of a Security Control Room

Proven experience in the Security aspects of event planning and delivery of high profile events involving large numbers of people and VIP visits
