Yard Person - Warehouse Operative

Bela Recruitment is currently seeking a Yard Person with Welding Skills to work in Lisburn, / Northern Ireland. The Company This is a cracking job for someone with previous yard experience and could do light maintenance. Immediate interviews and immediate start dates are available for the right person. Responsibilities You will take ownership of all yard duties, driving a forklift loading & unloading all rental equipment. Ensure the yard is kept tidy, equipment is stored securely, and any repairs/welding are carried out immediately before equipment is sent out on hire again. Cleaning equipment when returned from hire, ready for the next rental. Requirements Min 1-year previous yard work experience and some welding ability or willingness to learn.

Must hold a valid forklift licence and experience using in a commercial setting. Able to ensure a clean, tidy, safe & secure working yard at all times. Ability to work independently. Must be able to record all activity of goods in/out, damage, and add to an IT system in the office. Friendly, professional, can-do attitude. Might suit someone from a Warehousing, Labouring, Farming, Builders Merchant, Tool Hire background, working in a yard or with plant/equipment.
