Children's Residential Care About the Role TL Recruitment Solutions is recruiting on behalf of an established children's residential care provider supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Residential Support Worker looking to take the next step in their career or an existing Senior Residential Support Worker seeking a new challenge within a supportive and progressive organisation.

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will lead shifts, support colleagues, and play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing and structured environment for young people.

Key Responsibilities Leading shifts and supporting residential care staff Ensuring smooth handovers and daily operations Supporting young people with routines, education and wellbeing Acting as a key point of contact for professionals and families Completing records, reports and compliance documentation Supporting safeguarding and behavioural management plans Assisting with medication administration Supporting staff development and leadership activities Helping maintain a positive and therapeutic home environment Requirements Previous experience working with young people with EBD, trauma, SEN or other complex needs Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection Calm, resilient and emotionally intelligent approach Level 3 or Level 4 Health & Social Care qualification (or willingness to work towards one) Full UK driving licence (Essential) Ability to work a rota including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins Applicants must have the right to work in the UK (Sponsorship not available) What's on Offer?
