Emnet is partnering with a high-growth, Series B funded AI Fintech to hire an experienced Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer. This is a unique opportunity to combine deep technical expertise with customer engagement, helping enterprise clients successfully deploy and scale AI-powered solutions across critical business workflows.

The business has recently secured Series B funding and is entering an exciting growth period. As a result, they are looking for Sr. Engineers who can operate across the full solution lifecycle from technical discovery and solution design through to deployment, optimisation, and long term customer success.

Strong package on this one, including bonus, benefits, and stock options (ISO) is available. The company is open to location, with a preference for UK based candidates, although exceptional candidates across Europe will also be considered.

This role is suited to someone who is technically strong, commercially aware, and comfortable operating directly with customers. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, helping clients unlock value from AI products whilst influencing product direction, implementation strategy, and technical architecture.

• Partner directly with enterprise customers to understand business processes, technical requirements, and deployment objectives
• Design and implement customer-facing solutions using AI-enabled products and platforms
• Lead technical discovery sessions, solution workshops, and implementation planning
• Build integrations between customer systems and internal platforms using APIs, cloud services, and modern software architectures
• Translate customer requirements into scalable technical solutions and product enhancements
• Take ownership of complex technical challenges from solution design through production deployment
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and delivery teams to influence roadmap priorities and implementation approaches
• Improve platform scalability, reliability, observability, and operational performance
• Advise customers on architecture, best practices, deployment models, and technical strategy
• Create reusable implementation frameworks, tools, and processes that accelerate customer onboarding and delivery

• Significant experience as a Software Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Technical Consultant, or similar customer-facing engineering role
• Strong expertise in backend system design, architecture, and distributed systems
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Python, Go, Node.js, or Java
• Strong experience with cloud infrastructure platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure (AWS preferred)
• Experience designing and deploying production-grade software solutions in complex environments
• Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, databases, and service-oriented architecture
• Proven ability to work directly with customers and senior stakeholders to define and deliver technical solutions
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business outcomes
• Experience leading technical initiatives with a high degree of autonomy
• Ability to balance customer requirements with product scalability and engineering best practices

• Experience working within high-growth technology companies or startup environments
• Previous experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Consultant
• Exposure to AI, Machine Learning, LLM, or data-intensive platforms
• Fintech experience, although not essential
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation
• Experience building enterprise integrations and working with complex customer environments
• Previous experience mentoring engineers and contributing to technical leadership initiatives
