Forklift Driver

THE EMPLOYER IS: CRISSCROSS REMOVALS & STORAGECrisscross Removals & Storage is a Belfast-based removals and storage company known for delivering a high standard of service and taking the stress out of moving for our customers. We are currently recruiting a Forklift Driver to support our warehouse and storage operations. This role involves the safe operation of forklift equipment to move, load, and position storage containers and customer goods within our storage facility.

The successful candidate will work under supervision as part of our warehouse team and will receive training in safe forklift operation, load handling, and storage procedures.

• Operate forklift trucks to load, unload, and move storage containers and customer goods.
• Position containers correctly within the warehouse, ensuring safe weight distribution and stability.
• Assist with loading and unloading vehicles when required.
• Carry out daily forklift and equipment safety checks.
• Identify and report any faults or maintenance issues.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and safe working practices.
• Support the wider removals and storage team as required.

• Valid forklift licence (counterbalance preferred) or willingness to obtain certification.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and operating instructions.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse and storage environment.
• Willingness to work as part of a team.
• Previous experience operating forklifts.
• Experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or storage environment.
• Understanding of load handling and weight distribution.
• Experience assisting with loading and unloading vehicles.
