We currently have Operating Centres across Northern Ireland and Ireland, with further plans for expansion. McCulla has over 300 employees working across our Transport, Warehousing, Customs and Green Bioenergy Operations. There is an ever-growing modern fleet consisting of over 120 vehicles and 200 trailers operating our just in time service with environmental sustainability at the forefront of everything we do and making us unique in the market for our customers.

We are looking to recruit a Yard Maintenance Operative to join our team in Lisburn. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of the McCulla team.

The Person

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised working environment. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to carry out a range of manual duties are key to succeeding in this role. Yard maintenance involves keeping outdoor operational areas clean, safe, and well-organised to support daily logistics and warehouse activities.

Duties:

• General cleaning of yard areas

• Litter picking and waste management

• Grass cutting and weeding

• Power washing / hosing surfaces

• Trailer and equipment cleaning

• Keeping walkways and vehicle routes clear

• Reporting hazards or safety issues

Criteria:

• Attention to detail

• Awareness of health & safety practices

• Ability to work outdoors

• Good time management

• Teamwork and reliability

Counterbalance Forklift license preferred

Needs to be physically fit

• Location: 5 Altona Road, Blaris Industrial Estate, Lisburn, BT27 5QB

• Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent

• Rate of Pay: £12.71 – £13.00 per hour

• Working Hours
  :
  Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (1 hour lunch) Weekend overtime available if required.
