Warehouse Operatives; Nights

Overview

Simple Recruitment are looking for Warehouse Operatives to work Nights (Mon-Thurs) on a temp to perm basis with our client in Chippenham.

£15.50 per hour / Salary £38,688.00 per annum

Monday to Thursday 6.00pm to 6.00am (12-hour shift over 4 days – 48 hours)

• In return, you will receive a very competitive salary plus monthly performance bonus (pro rata)
• 20 days holiday per year
• After 2 year’s unbroken service employees will receive an additional day’s holiday which will increase by an extra day after each additional full year’s service up to 5 years pro rata
• After 2 years continuous service you will receive an annual loyalty bonus

The Job: Working for one of the largest independent warehousing and distribution companies in the South-West you will:

• Take part in the day-to-day operation of our warehouses and storage facilities
• Taking delivery of goods for storage
• Checking for damaged or missing items
• Moving stock by hand or with machines
• Loading / unloading trailers either for deliveries or collections
• Cleaning the warehouse

• Proven experience in a warehouse setting
• Able to work as part of a team and alone
• Capability to report correct information to colleagues
• You will thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Forklift licenses:
  Counterbalance a necessity (in-house certificates accepted)
