Recovery Worker – Women's Service
The Recovery Worker is based in Liskeard, Cornwall and works with women across the county with diverse, complex needs. The role is trauma‑informed, using an outreach model and multi‑agency working to support women to meet their recovery goals. The position may require occasional Saturday work.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver recovery care to women in the community, focusing on substance use, mental and emotional health, and building healthy relationships.
- Use an outreach model to keep clients engaged and provide flexible, responsive support.
- Collaborate with the adult community team, outreach, hospital, clinical, criminal justice and residential services.
- Participate in multi‑agency networking and develop sustainable pathways to support clients’ progress.
- Maintain accurate, timely case records and support clinical handovers.
- ONC/NVQ Level 3 qualification or willingness to achieve within 12 months.
- Experience or volunteering in health, social care, criminal justice, or a related specialist setting.
- Track record of working with people who have experienced substance misuse.
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Strong communication, organisational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships with clients, colleagues and external partners.
- Resilience under pressure and prioritisation ability.
- IT competency and flexibility with working hours.
- Willingness to support other With You locations when needed.
- £28,000 per annum starting salary with £1,000 allowance (increase by band).

Person SpecificationCompassionate, motivated and relationship‑building. Demonstrable experience in health, social care, criminal justice or related setting. Passion for the drug and alcohol sector and a positive, engaging approach to clients and stakeholders. High organisational and communication skills, resilience, IT competency and team working.
