This Role

The ALC office in Lisle, IL offers an entry‑level Associate Project Manager position. This role works closely with Project Managers, Field Supervisors, and other operations team members to help ensure BAS projects are delivered on time, under budget, and with a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow project processes and provide direction to the Project Team.
  • Complete projects per contractual requirements within budget, on‑time, and with high customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and track the overall financial performance of projects, including project planning, billing, revenue forecasting, A/R collections, and re‑estimating costs of installation projects.
  • Manage delivery of the contracted scope and secure change orders upon scope creep.
  • Coordinate project materials, use shared resources, identify resource constraints, and assist with corrective action plans.
  • Build relationships with subcontractors, identify issues, and take corrective action plans to resolve matters.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years’ experience in Project Management in the construction industry.
  • Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment over 8 feet above grade and lifting items up to 20 lbs.
  • Ability to be insured for driving company vehicles or personal vehicles on company behalf.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, associate degree, or technical/business certificate in HVAC, controls, or a related field.
  • Experience in building automation, HVAC controls, or related field.
  • Experience with building automation software such as WebCTRL and installing controls.
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP networks including wireless technology.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to a non‑technical audience.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
