Position Overview

As a Diesel Instructor you will shape the minds and skills of our students. Your expertise in diesel engines, diagnostics, and repair will be the guiding light that leads them to a promising career. Hands‑on learning is key; you’ll dive into interactive teaching and inspire the next generation to conquer modern diesel technology.

Responsibilities
  • Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment where students can flourish.
  • Lead by example and provide practical demonstrations, ensuring students gain real‑world experience in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing diesel engines.
  • Collaborate with the education team to develop new courses and enhance existing ones that align with industry trends and advancements.
  • Guide and mentor students on individual projects, encouraging critical thinking and innovative solutions.
  • Instill the importance of safety procedures and best practices to ensure a secure working environment for students.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3–5 years of practical work experience in diesel technology.
  • ASE certifications are highly valued; if you’re not current we will pay for you to obtain them.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective connection with students and staff.
  • Patience and empathy, understanding that every student learns at their own pace.
