Electrical Engineer
Duration: 12 months (Could extend)
Role Summary/
Purpose:
The Application Engineer is responsible for coordinating all technical and costing aspects of Grid Solutions proposals as part of a world-class team.
Requirements include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years’ experience in design and construction of substations, transmission, or power generation projects.
Preferred:
- Experience with high voltage (69 KV and above) as well as mid to low voltage systems.
Desired Characteristics:
- Master's in Electrical Engineering (MSEE)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in construction, field testing, and commissioning
- Energetic team player with leadership qualities
- Professional Engineering registration (U.S.)
- Knowledge of IEEE & ANSI standards
- Experience with computer-aided estimating programs
- Knowledge of HV/EHV substation design, plant auxiliary systems, protection & control schemes, SCADA, and testing methods
- Proficiency in AutoCAD / Microstation and MS Office
