Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled FP&A Senior Analyst with strong technology and AI skills. The role combines traditional senior FP&A responsibilities with a focus on leveraging advanced analytics and artificial intelligence to improve forecasting, scenario modeling, and decision support. Key duties include developing financial models, managing budgets and forecasts, preparing executive reports, and analyzing performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Modeling & Forecasting:
    Build, maintain, and refine complex financial models (Excel, EPM systems such as HFM, Oracle, One Stream, Python) for budgeting, long‑range planning, and scenario/sensitivity analysis.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting:
    Conduct in‑depth variance analysis of actual results versus plan/forecast, identify key drivers and trends, and prepare executive‑level reports and dashboards.
  • Business Partnering:
    Collaborate closely with business unit finance teams, corporate finance functions (Controller, Tax, Treasury, Internal Audit), and cross‑functional leaders to align financial assumptions, shape plans, and influence strategic decisions using data‑driven insights.
  • Strategic Initiatives:
    Support cost optimization, pricing/revenue optimization, and other strategic projects as needed.
  • Data & Technology:
    Evangelize analytics and AI initiatives for FP&A and broader finance teams, promote Tableau dashboards, learn and apply AI technologies to improve FP&A productivity.
  • Corporate Expenses:
    Assist in managing operating expenses for IT, Legal, HR, Finance, and Executive teams; lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Expert proficiency with MS Excel for complex modeling; experience with EPM tools (One Stream, Oracle EPM, Adaptive Planning), BI tools (Tableau, Power BI), SQL, and Python for automation or analysis.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving abilities; excellent communication and storytelling skills to present complex financial data clearly to non‑financial stakeholders.
  • Process improvement and growth mindset, capable of working in a fast‑paced, high‑transparency environment and managing multiple priorities with minimal guidance.
  • Experience in manufacturing companies is preferred.
  • Occasional travel may be required, up to 10%.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in highly analytical FP&A, corporate finance, or a related role.

The expected annual salary range for this position is $90-115K. This position is eligible for a discretionary bonus with a target incentive of 10% of base salary. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only; CTS considers a variety of factors when setting base salary rates.
