MRI Technologist – Lisle – Evenings

Location:

Naperville, IL (Lisle). Salary: $32.65–$49.00 per hour. Shift: Evening (Monday–Friday 12:30 pm–9:00 pm, plus two weekend days per month 7:30 am–4:00 pm).

Performs a variety of complex diagnostic MRI procedures under radiologist direction, including:

• Executing routine MRIs and MRAs, taking patient histories, and administering IV contrast.
• Maintaining a positive imaging environment and acting as a patient liaison to the radiologist.
• Performing quality assurance checks on equipment and procedure areas.
• Ensuring proper MRI safety standards and compliance with ferromagnetic material protocols.
• Documenting MRI screening forms, IV access, and contrast administration per established guidelines.
• Providing education and patient support in lay terms.
• Assisting with patient transport and positioning to achieve optimal image quality.

• Graduate of an accredited MRI program.
• ARRT registered technologist (RT(MR) or equivalent certification).
• BLS – Basic Life Support, AED Adult & Pediatric CPR.
• Minimum one year of MRI imaging experience.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, bend/stoop, and lift/push 50–100 lbs.
• Proficient with MRI coils, tables, and accessory equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, multi‑tasking, and composure under stress.

Base pay range: $32.65–$49.00 per hour, determined by skills, experience, certifications, and location. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
