Role: CAD Senior Developer

Work location:

Lisle, IL

• Develop custom programs requested by the business and maintain stability of the CAD product ecosystem.
• Lead in-flight projects and enhancements to the CAD ecosystem, including Order Builder, Frame building, SAGE, and post‑processing tasks.
• Coordinate with CAD Product Owners & End Users to triage issues from R&D engineers.
• Execute enhancements in an Agile framework while maintaining best practices such as Dev Sec Ops , source control, IT security, and onboarding automation.
• Collaborate with Group R&D to establish a OnePDP ecosystem, support data migration ETL, and integrate product information flow.

• 5 years of experience in multi-CAD engineering environments, building 2D/3D drawings in NX, CATIA, Solid Works, AutoCAD, and/or Creo.
• 3–5 years of experience customizing CAD tools to automate model generation and design context positioning.
• Strong skills with C++, Python, and .NET (C# required; Visual Basic, Batch, Power Shell nice to have).
• Experience with Dev Sec Ops  & Agile methodologies, source control, CI/CD pipelines, and agile ceremonies.
• Excellent communication skills for translating technical requirements into IT deliverables.
• Strategic thinker who understands how the work contributes to the company’s direction.
• Collaborative leader who speaks up proactively and manages leadership expectations.

• Optional skills and proficiencies may include additional CAD programming languages, advanced automation tools, or integration experience.
