Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing: Infrastructure & Operations, Information Security & Data Protection
Molex Cybersecurity Operations team plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the organization’s complex global manufacturing ecosystem. In an environment where compliance with a myriad of international laws, industry standards, and regulatory requirements is non-negotiable, the team proactively develops, enhances, and operates robust cybersecurity programs designed to fortify the company’s overall security posture.
By swiftly responding to cybersecurity incidents and collaborating seamlessly with IT and digital teams worldwide, the team ensures that both preventative and detective measures evolve continuously to counter ever-emerging threats. This role also works in close partnership with Koch Security Operations, focusing upstream on security architecture, design, and enablement — critical domains that help to systematically reduce risk and prevent incidents before they occur, ensuring uninterrupted operations and protecting sensitive data across all global sites.
What You Will Do- Define, evolve and evangelize cloud security architectures, reference designs, and guardrails that enable secure-by-design practices across hybrid and multi-cloud environments
- Establish and maintain security standards and architectural patterns for cloud-native services, containerized workloads, serverless architectures, and identity-driven access models
- Embed security into Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and platform capabilities to enable automated, scalable security controls
- Partner with cloud platform, application, and development teams to provide architectural guidance, threat modeling, and design reviews aligned with Zero Trust principles
- Design and guide implementation of identity and access architectures, including IAM, least-privilege access, and continuous validation
- Collaborate with Security Operations and Incident Response teams to ensure architectural decisions support effective detection, response, and recovery
- Advise architects and engineering teams on cloud security trade offs, patterns, and best practices aligned with business risk tolerance
- Monitor evolving cloud security threats, architectures, and industry trends to continuously improve standards and architectural guidance
- 8+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, with significant experience designing and securing cloud environments
- Strong experience securing IaaS and PaaS platforms in hybrid or multi-cloud environments
- Experience designing security controls that scale across multiple accounts.
- Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, including containers, microservices, and serverless workloads
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and embedding security controls into automated deployments
- Strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management concepts and Zero Trust principles
- Experience partnering with development and platform teams on secure design, threat modeling, and Dev Sec Ops practices
- Hands-on experience securing serverless, containerized, and API-driven workloads at scale
- Direct experience supporting aerospace and defense or defense-adjacent workloads, including securing hybrid enclaves for Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)
- Demonstrated ability to translate compliance and regulatory requirements into scalable architectural patterns, automated controls, and guardrails rather than manual processes
- Strong understanding of identity-first and Zero Trust architectures in environments with elevated regulatory and audit expectations
- Proven ability to influence secure design decisions across teams without relying on enforcement or gatekeeping
- Experience partnering with engineering, platform, and compliance teams to balance delivery velocity with…
