School Nurse; RN Two Assignments Chicago, IL

Location: Lisle, IL (40 minute drive from Chicago, IL)
Dates:

• Assignment 1: January 5th, 2026 – May 22nd, 2026

• Assignment 2 (Transition Program): ASAP – May 22nd, 2026

Full-time | 7:45 AM – 3:15 PM

The district is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 1:1 school nurse position
. When the assigned student is absent, the nurse may be asked to support as a classroom aide. This is a great opportunity for nurses with pediatric, school-based, or special needs experience to support students in a structured and collaborative educational environment.

1:1 student support; must be flexible to assist in the classroom when needed.

$40+ with benefits

• Active IL RN Professional License
• CPR and BLS Certified
• At least one year of nursing experience
• Pediatrics and/or special needs experience
• G-tube/J-tube/NG tube experience, including bolus and pumps
• Seizure experience (including observing seizures) and familiarity with emergency seizure medications
• Tracheostomy and suctioning experience is a strong plus
