Position: Staff RN - Immediate Care - Part Time

Staff RN - Lisle/Westmont - Immediate Care - Part Time

Position Highlights
  • Part Time: 24-28 hours a week
  • Hours:

    8am to 8pm M-F, 8am to 4pm Sat/Sun. 2-3 weekday shifts per week and every other weekend. (Differential pay is offered for nights and weekends), other locations are open 9am to 9pm on weekdays

Responsibilities
  • Depending on Practice Site Requirements, an incumbent in this position may not perform all the key responsibilities listed below. However, it is expected that at least 80% of the responsibilities are performed for this job. Travel to other sites may be required.
  • Patient Assessment and Treatment:
    Consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Patient Documentation:
    Maintains accurate and detailed patient records, charts and other pertinent information; posts tests and examination results.
  • Patient/Family

    Education:

    Delivers patient education, according to the individualized needs of the patient and as prescribed by the Provider and/or Group policy.
  • Triage Phone Response:
    Responds to/refers incoming patient treatment-related phone calls.
  • Safety Procedures:
    Responsible for routine maintenance and preparation of medical equipment; cleans, disinfects, and/or sterilizes instruments and equipment following CDC safety and OSHA standards.
  • Clinical Resource for Staff:
    Performs and delegates a variety of tasks to facilitate patient office visits and procedures.
  • Other Duties as Assigned: (Depending on Office Specific Requirements)
    • Maintain Medication Count:
      Ensures that all controlled substances are secured and appropriately accounted for on a daily basis.
    • Schedules Tests/Procedures:
      May schedule tests and procedures and obtain insurance pre-authorization.
Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited Registered Nursing program.
  • Knowledge of nursing skills in accordance with nursing standards in the Nurse Practice Act.
  • Must have a current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
  • A current and valid Illinois Nurse License.

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity.
