Position Overview

Reporting to the Europe Sales Manager, the Territory Sales Manager – DACH is responsible for executing Spectra Precision’s commercial strategy across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The role serves as the primary regional representative, ensuring strong market presence, effective dealer and distributor engagement, and alignment with European and global sales and marketing objectives.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all sales activities within the DACH territory to achieve revenue, growth, and market penetration objectives.
  • Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with distributors, dealers, and key end users within the construction sector.
  • Execute territory‑specific business plans in collaboration with the Europe Sales Manager, aligned with broader European sales strategy.
  • Represent Spectra Precision at industry events, trade shows, customer demonstrations, and on‑site visits to promote product awareness and adoption.
  • Support dealer and customer training initiatives, providing hands‑on product demonstrations and application‑focused education.
  • Act as a technical resource for customers and channel partners, providing product expertise and application guidance as required.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback, and communicate insights to internal stakeholders to support strategic decision‑making.
  • Manage territory forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and CRM activities to ensure accurate pipeline visibility and planning.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to Spectra Precision’s quality, service, and operational standards across the region.
  • Promote company values and contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Requirements Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • 5‑7 years of experience in the construction industry, ideally supported by hands‑on trade, field, or application‑based exposure.
  • Proven success in territory or regional sales, business development, or dealer management within construction, construction technology, or precision equipment markets.
  • Strong understanding of construction workflows, distribution models, and the operational needs of contractors and dealers.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage effective dealer and distributor relationships within established sales channels.
  • Technical knowledge of laser leveling, grading, or positioning systems, or comparable construction measurement technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to operate effectively and independently in a remote, field‑based role.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital collaboration tools for pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical products and applications into value‑driven commercial outcomes for contractors and channel partners.
  • Fluency in German and English.
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Direct experience with construction lasers, positioning systems, or comparable measurement technologies.
  • Experience supporting or managing dealer networks across multiple countries or regions.
  • Knowledge of applicable construction standards and industry regulations within the DACH region.
  • Experience delivering customer or dealer training programs and technical product demonstrations.
