Our team has a combined average of 33 years of roofing experience and is composed of talented professionals who are knowledgeable and can answer your roofing questions. We provide a full range of services, including commercial and industrial roofing, re‑roofs, leak repairs, preventative maintenance, inspections, and 24/7 service.
We are currently seeking a Commercial Roofing Sales Representative for our Lisle, IL office. This role is ideal for a driven professional with a strong background in sales and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Job Functions- Prospect via cold calls, emails, door‑to‑door calls, networking and referrals
- Follow up on direct mail campaigns
- Set sales appointments with key decision makers at prospective client companies
- Establish rapport and develop long‑term business relationships with clients over an extended sales cycle
- Partner with clients to establish their needs
- Present clients with the most appropriate solutions
- Assemble proposals and reports for clients
- Submit all contacts and documentation in a timely manner
- Maintain all sales activity in the Tecta CRM program
- Follow up with clients periodically to ensure expectations are met and to get referrals
- Work with Service Manager to understand and generate additional leads and referrals
- Coordinate with service manager to develop sales strategies and, when necessary, close deals
- Manage the service projects won through your efforts
- Perform other related tasks as may be assigned
- Demonstrated success in sales and a strong record of achievement and results
- Ability to apply negotiation skills to a variety of sales situations
- 3 years sales experience in roofing, construction or a related field preferred (not required)
- Ability to manage/qualify leads and close business through direct contact or over the phone
- Excellent track record in developing relationships with a high degree of integrity and trust
- Solid verbal, written, interpersonal and listening skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to climb ladders and walk/inspect roofs
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle
- Ability to travel locally out of the office 80% of the time
