- This position is part of Application algorithm team developing Controls and Software logic for ECU applications including Body Controls and Engine Controls.
- The Engineer will also have exposure to or participate in the development of closed loop vehicle HIL system that is a critical tool in controls development and test.
- Development of control algorithms utilizing embedded software development process
- Define CAN system requirements and interface specifications
- Develop vehicle topology / network architecture
- Develop Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
- Write and/or review system and subsystem specifications and requirements from vehicle/customer level requirements
- Development of system requirements, design, simulation, and tests of various mechatronic systems
- Development of appropriate documentation to support process compliance
- Collaborate with functional safety engineers and integrate safety requirements into system design
- Lead / participate in issue resolution activities during development, validation, and vehicle launch
- Utilization of systems development tools and processes Embedded software development experience
- Engineering tool Matlab, Simulink, MS Visio, INCA calibration tool, Software configuration management tools
- Software programming language such as C/C++, Embedded Software Development and Testing tools (CANalyzer, HILs etc.)
