The Caregiver will report to the Health & Wellness Director. The Caregiver is a Full‑Time non‑exempt, hourly position.
ScheduleFull‑Time 7am – 3pm / Part‑Time All Shifts
Salary$20.00 – $22.00 Hourly
Job OverviewAssists residents in all aspects of their daily life as indicated in the resident’s care plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities.
Responsibilities and Duties- Provide resident care such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding as outlined in care plans.
- Maintain residents’ safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality.
- Escort residents to meals and activities.
- Ensure all assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe, and fed during each shift.
- Document all services provided to assigned residents during each shift.
- Report any change of condition in a resident immediately to your supervisor.
- Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aide.
- Knowledge and experience working with the elderly population; preferred dementia experience.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.
- Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs intermittently, using proper body mechanics.
