Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager

Responsibilities

• Design and implement sourcing solutions that optimize cost, quality, and delivery for event-related goods and services.
• Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Develop and execute category strategies that align with organizational objectives and deliver measurable value.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast needs and create agile procurement plans for large-scale events.
• Drive innovation in sourcing practices, leveraging technology and market insights to enhance efficiency.
• Monitor supplier performance and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation.
• Champion sustainability and ethical sourcing practices in line with corporate social responsibility goals.
• Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure sourcing effectiveness and supplier compliance.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, ideally with exposure to complex, multi-category environments.
• Proven ability to develop creative sourcing solutions and deliver cost optimization.
• Strong understanding of category management principles and procurement best practices.
• Familiarity with risk management, compliance, and sustainability initiatives.
• Proficiency in procurement systems and contract lifecycle management.

• Strategic and innovative mindset for designing sourcing solutions and driving value.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills for engaging suppliers and stakeholders.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities to evaluate performance and market dynamics.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
